ARCHIVE - 1988 SCHWINN PARAMOUNT 50th ANNIVERSARY TEAM WHEATIES RACING/ROAD BIKES                       Sponsored by: memphisbargainbicycles.com

Dr Deutschmark bike found at a thrift store in San Jose, Calif. Some scuffs, minor scratches Volker Diehl's team nickname, Dr. Deutschmark, is painted on the chainstay.  Measures approx *60cm. Top tube approx. 57.5cm (Size difference could be the reason why the *58cm "DEAL" frame went to team leader "the CHIEF" Michael Vaarten).

Note same DEAL bottom bracket stamp as on "the CHIEFS" bike.

I have a complete photo album available on request if you need help authenticating another Team Wheaties bike, etc.

All the info I was able to get on another Diehl-Dr Deutschmark bike previously owned by (BMX) Bob Moore: The frame is hanging in the shop and I still have the box that it came in. We also have some other stuff that came with it (posters, hats,  team bag........). We have it all stored and would have to dig it out again to make sure exactly what is in there.
