PHOTO ALBUM Memphis Bargain Bicycles
FIXING BICYCLES FOR KIDS in our neighborhood got me started. It turned into a passion for saving quality bicycles not made in China. Bicycles given NEW LIFE are selectively chosen. Many hours are spent with no compensation.
FOLKS buy a bicycle with good intentions. It may sit in their garage for years unridden. Those bikes have great like-new parts, maybe not-so-great frames. I have taken apart at least 200 bikes, recycling parts not worth reusing & frames not worth restoring. You get the best, the ENVIRONMENT GETS THE BENEFIT.
EVERY BICICYLE FRAME selected for a NEW LIFE has been completely dis-assembled. All original parts are cleaned and carefully inspected for quality & wear. Parts replaced are usually made in Japan & of better quality than original. ALLOY retrofitted components to reduce weight & upgrade bicycle quality are used extensively during precision hand-rebuild.
BUYERS GET THE BENEFIT of a smooth, care-free ride with low maintenance costs.

From: JEROLD. Subject: TWICE-THE-BIKE: What a joke! Should be old bicycles for triple-the-price. Everybody for a profit. Reply: Jerold, would you be so kind as to go to my Buyer's Page?
1) I'm not a retailer. 2) I put in a lot of unpaid time saving quality bicycles.
I agree that TWICE-THE-BIKE is not always accurate. There are also many bicycles where MORE-THAN-TWICE would be true.
I don't know what angered you enough to e-mail me, but whatever it was, be assured I'm still, at 71 yrs. old, an honest man giving honest value.
I want you to know I'm always available to anyone who needs help on bicycles, you included. Lew
Found the serial number, saved it. Thanks for the tip!
Yes, the bike is definitely a keeper. What a great deal for a custom fit bike. Your attention to detail and customer satisfaction went far beyond expectations.
The bent-back seat post works perfectly. I'm comfortable riding the bike. I don't feel too far back, nor do I feel at all out of balance. I'm totally pleased with the bike and I am 100% delighted to have done business with you. You are the best!!! Jim
Just went for my first ride on Sunday... been training inside (too dark when I get home from work...)
I'm sure I'm going to love it - just takes a little getting used to the riding style but so far so good.

Hi Lew
Hope all is well with you.
Checked out your website and am wondering who that movie star is in the photos.
My bike is still perfect & I love riding it. That bike has been to a lot of places in western North America. It travels well. After I take the front wheel & seat off, it fits perfectly in the trunk of the car we tow behind the RV. We're back in Gilbert for the winter. There are lots of bike paths. I often think how lucky I was to have found you and ended up with such a good fitting, smooth operating bike. Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2008. Jim
Got a call from another 6'5"er yesterday. Going to try to do the same thing for him. Lew
March 1, 2009 STILL GOING STRONG! My beautiful bike is still performing most admirably. I expect that it will last me for the rest of my days. I don’t frequent bike shops. My shop is in Memphis and that gentleman (You) turns out such good stuff that my bike has never needed repair! Best regards, Jim
